As many of you may know, we love to travel. We also enjoy learning new things, pushing ourselves to grow, and meeting like-minded people. We find that attending conferences is a great way to combine all of these interests.
This year we have an especially packed agenda of events. With subjects ranging from entrepreneurship to blogging/podcasting to real estate to female physician empowerment, we’ll be attending one to two conferences a month!
We enjoy meeting our readers in person, so we share our schedule here in hopes that some of you will be able to attend some of these conferences with us. We’ve included links to the conferences that we know are still open for registration. None of these are affiliate links, we just really love these conferences! We’ll plan on sharing an updated version of this schedule every six months so.

Tony Robbins – Business Mastery – June 20th-24th

We’re currently traveling through the Netherlands and Belgium, getting more and more excited to attend Business Mastery in just a couple weeks with Tony Robbins. Business Mastery is a conference focused on helping entrepreneurs improve all aspects of their businesses, from marketing and sales to growth and leadership strategies to innovation and customer service. As part of the four-day conference, Tony Robbins brings in business leaders from around the world to share their insights, including Russel Brunson. Tony personally guarantees that attendees will gain at least one million dollars of value in their business or they get their money back. Bring it on!

Kenji and I have gained a lot of personal value as well as incredible friends from attending Tony Robbins conferences. We love the way that Tony focuses on shifting your mindset and achieving more in business and in life. We’re excited to attend Unleash the Power Within (for a second time this year!) in sunny Dallas, Texas this summer. UPW is focused solely on personal growth and development and encouraging attendees to continue defying their limitations by unleashing the power within. Did we also mention there’s fire-walking?

Brad Sumrok – Rat Race 2 Retirement (R2R) – July 20th & 21st

Earlier this year we met Brad Sumrock at a real estate investment conference in Seattle and were quite impressed with his syndication company and educational program. Brad is often referred to as the “apartment king” since he and his students do more apartment syndications in the U.S. per year than any other group. We’re particularly interested to learn how he sources and does due diligence for large multi-family deals, since we are looking to acquire a larger property this summer. Pat Flynn – FlynnCon1: Press Start – July 26th – 28th

Pat Flynn is an expert in internet marketing who focuses on helping people start up and build blogging and podcasting businesses. When we first started our blog, we leaned on his video education content to learn the ins and outs of setting up WordPress and our email system. In his first conference, FlynnCon1, Pat promises to bring together like-minded entrepreneurs in this energetic, creative, and motivating workshop. Although the agenda and guest speakers are still shrouded in mystery, I’m confident we’re going to make amazing connections and gain useful ideas for how to improve our blog business. Who knows, maybe we’ll finally get started with a podcast!

Life Wealth Mastery – Aug 21-28th

Life Wealth Mastery is a Tony Robbins conference series held several times a year in Fiji at his personal resort as well as other tropical locations. This year, we’ll be attending in the Canary Islands! The life portion of the conference focuses on personal health, bringing together health experts who give a range of lectures. It also includes what we’ve heard is an intense juice cleanse. The wealth focuses on building personal and generational wealth through investments. After completing this course, we’ll be attending a leadership portion of the course (which is part of a multi-day year-long series) to learn to help people through coaching and personal interventions, like Tony Robbins.

When we attend the world’s largest financial conference and expo this fall, we know we are going to learn useful strategies and new methods from the more than two thousand content creators and influencers there. We are especially excited about the connections we will make and to see how the people we meet at this conference will influence our blog and social media presence while helping us grow our Semi-Retired MD community! As a bonus, we get to spend more time with our physician friends like Bonnie Koo and Peter Kim who are doing big things! There may even be time for a meet-up!

We’ll be back in San Diego this fall for Leadership Academy, a training program for people interested in gaining skills in the life-changing techniques that Tony Robbins practices when he helps people shift their mindset through interventions and public lectures. This conference will be a part of our year-long training in Tony Robbins-style coaching. We’ll be applying what we learn here (and in the four other leadership conferences) to our coaching clients to help them build their real estate portfolios!
