What do we mean by “recession-proofing” your real estate portfolio?
Finding recession-proof tenants. Renting your property to tenants who get their rent subsidized – ideally the government but it can be a non-profit or a company. If it’s a company, you want to make sure that the company is recession-resistant (for example, a hospital).
