OFFICIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Before participating in this sweepstake, please read through these official terms and conditions, and the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy of Semi-Retired MD at https://semiretiredmd.com/terms-of-service/.
The Semi-Retired MD Legally Lower Your Taxes Bootcamp Sweepstake (the “Sweepstake”) is sponsored by TAIKUN, LLC (the “Sponsor”), and will be governed by these rules and regulations (the “Official Rules”).
1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
The Sweepstake begins on February 27, 2025 at 7:00pm EST and ends on March 4, 2025 at 5pm EST (the “Sweepstake Period”).
3. HOW TO ENTER
To be eligible for the Grand Prize drawing, participants must complete all of the following requirements by March 4, 2025:
No additional methods of entry are permitted.
All decisions regarding the validity of entries shall be made in the sole and exclusive discretion of the Sponsor. The Sponsor is not responsible for any lost, late, stolen, incomplete, illegible, inaccurate, undelivered, delayed, or misdirected entries. Use of any robotic, automatic, programmed, or similar entry method or entering more than the number of times permitted will void all entries and result in disqualification. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules.
4. ELIGIBILITY
The Sweepstake is open to anyone who:
Employees of Sponsor, its advertising and promotion agencies, sales affiliates, other companies associated with the promotion of the Sweepstake, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, as well as immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members are not eligible to enter the Sweepstake.
By participating, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and the Community Manager, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstake.
The Sweepstake is void wherever prohibited or restricted by any mandatory national, state or other government laws in a form and language as provided herein and is subject to all applicable mandatory federal (national), state and local laws.
5. WINNER SELECTION & LIVE DRAWING
The Grand Prize drawing will take place live in the Semi-Retired Doctors Facebook group on March 4, 2025, after the 48-hour replay period ends. A winner will be drawn at random from all eligible participants who have completed the required steps.
The selected winner will be tagged in the appropriate Facebook Group and notified via email and text. Potential winners must return any required answers and confirmations within one (1) day of the date notice is sent. Failure to respond within the applicable time period will result in forfeiture of prize and Sponsor shall have the option to award the prize to an alternate winner. The return of any prize notification or prize as undeliverable may result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected. If a winner is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, the winner’s prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.
All income taxes resulting from acceptance of prize are the responsibility of winner. By entering this sweepstakes, you accept and agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Community Manager, which shall be final in all matters. Acceptance of a prize also constitutes permission to the Sponsor to use winner’s name, likeness and/or biographical information for marketing purposes without further compensation or right of approval, unless prohibited by law. All federal, state and local laws apply.
6. PRIZES
Total prize value: seven hundred ninety-nine US dollars (USD$799.00).
The Grand Prize of the Sweepstake consists of the following:
No substitution or transfer of prize permitted by winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. If a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor will award the applicable prize to an alternate winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries. Only three (3) alternate drawings will be held, after which the prize will remain un-awarded.
All expenses not expressly specified as being included in the prize and all federal, state and other tax liabilities, if any, related to the above prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners. Unless otherwise provided in these Official Rules, the prize cannot be assigned, transferred, redeemed for cash, or substituted except by the Sponsor who may, at its sole discretion, substitute the prize with one of comparable value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable for any reason.

8. CHOICE OF LAW AND FORUM
These Official Rules constitute the entire agreement and understanding between the Sponsor and you and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, written and oral, relating to the subject matter hereof. These Official Rules will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Puerto Rico and the laws of the United States of America applicable therein, without regard to its principles of conflicts of laws. Each of the parties irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Superior Court of San Juan for the purpose of any suit, action, proceeding or judgment relating to or arising out of these Official Rules and the transactions contemplated hereby. Each of the parties waives all defenses of lack of personal jurisdiction and forum non conveniens. In any action or suit to enforce any right or remedy under these Official Rules, the prevailing party will be entitled to recover its costs, including reasonable attorneys’ fees.
9. GENERAL TERMS
These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the Puerto Rico and the laws of the United States of America applicable therein. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to amend, withdraw or revise these Official Rules and the prizes at any time without notice and in such event the Sponsor shall not have any liability whatsoever. In the event the Sponsor dissolves or ceases doing business as a going concern prior to the award of the prizes, such prizes will not be awarded. If the Sponsor dissolves or ceases doing business as a going concern after the award of the prizes, undelivered elements of the prizes will not be delivered. Sponsor shall have no liability for such failure to award, or fully award the prizes.
The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify or terminate this Sweepstake in the event of any act, occurrence, or reason that it believes would corrupt the integrity, administration, or fairness of the Sweepstake.
Under no circumstances, including negligence, shall the Sponsor be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages that result from any participant’s act of submitting an entry, or inability to do so, including due to any and all technical malfunctions for any reason whatsoever, or otherwise participating in any aspect of this Sweepstake or out of any breach of any warranty. Each winner shall bear all risk of loss or damage to such winner’s prize after it has been delivered. The Sponsor makes no representation or warranties of any kind concerning the appearance, safety or performance of any prize. This exclusion or limitation of liability will not apply to the extent that any applicable statute prohibits such exclusion or limitation of liability.
By participating in the Sweepstake, you agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless the Sponsor, its respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and other individuals engaged in the development or execution of this Sweepstake, from any injury, death, liabilities, claims, losses, and damages arising out of or relating to your participation in this Sweepstake or the acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of any prize received in this Sweepstake.
The Sponsor is not responsible for injury or damage to your or to any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in the Sweepstake. Should any portion of the Sweepstake be, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, technical failures or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries, the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Sweepstake, and draw winners from entries received prior to action taken or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by the Sponsor. The Sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstake, and assumes no responsibility for any error, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation, or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, or unauthorized use of the Sweepstake site or other applicable sites.
